For the best view over Kandy we will take you to a lookout point above the lake. From here you can see how the palace and the temple area were once the dominating features of Kandy. The palace is almost gone, but the green forbidden garden still exists as a cultivated jungle. The town was the adjoining part with almost the same pattern of roads as it was hundreds of years ago – but the traffic has changed.
