We are driving through the villages off the main road and walk from one temple to another. Two different worlds are still co-existing here: the traditional garden self sustainable economy with a long tradition in craftsmanship and the global mass production with plastic products and internet communication. The spices are still grown and collected in the way it was done several hundred years ago – but the traders use now mobile phones.
